Pastor/ Founder/ Artistic Director
Standing center stage, Fred doesn't like to describe his plays proceeded by the term "One-man". He's first to remind you he doesn't stand center stage alone. Affectionately known as "Teddy" to many, some favorite hobbies include gardening, making music, creating, writing/ telling stories....and critiquing Hallmark movies with his wife, Katie. It's no surprise that his favorite book is the Bible, but you know it's an art when he flows from one of many memorized verses, right into a Willy Wonka quote. "You get nothing! You lose! Good day Sir!" (wait...WHAT?!)
"I started Plays On Word because I believe the Lord put it on my heart to do so. I am inspired by the never ending wonders of God through His Word. My favorite quote is from the "PETE" play, “ I HAD to say something!” And in preaching the Word and spreading His Good News…that’s the best place to start!"
Fred ‘s love for theater and music started at an early age and was honed on the stage of Manasquan High School and over his parents’ garage. Years of perfecting his craft led him to several personal and professional accomplishments, through his independent label, FDKjr Music, including:
