Andy Puzycki will always hold a special place in our hearts as the inaugural percussionist who helped launch this ministry from the very beginning. Andy was the rhythmic backbone of our productions, keeping time and turning heads with drumsticks (often replaced) and a hairstyle best described as “flowing freedom.” When he’s not pounding out beats for Jesus, you might find him surfing the Jersey Shore waves, grilling like a boss, or hitting the gym with more enthusiasm than discipline for reading (besides the Bible, of course—he does have priorities). With a wardrobe of “planned spontaneity” and an unopened package of white socks displayed like fine art, Andy lives life unscripted. His elevator pitch? “E flat.” His dream? To someday walk Abbey Road and pay homage to musical legends. And while he may get down to Phil Collins’ *Sussudio* when no one’s watching, his biggest flex just might be that his best friend is his mom (because of course she is). Fueled by faith, family, and the smooth stylings of Steely Dan, Andy is here to make a joyful noise — preferably at full volume.

More About Me

"What first drew me to Plays On Word was the fresh, creative way it reaches both Christians and non-Christians with the truth of the Gospel. It’s theater—but with eternal purpose. What keeps me here? Seeing how this ministry has grown, from a basement off Route 71 in Manasquan, NJ, to stages across the globe. The organization is taking the Gospel globally now! That kind of faithfulness and reach is seriously inspiring."

Final Note

As for a quote that stands out for me: 'Didn’t catch nothing…' from the ‘PETE’ play!
Even when it looks like we’ve come up empty, God’s just getting ready to fill the nets.
